Inspiration
The Papilora Pendant Light is a single-bulb brass butterfly pendant with a curved solid-brass arm and two cast-brass butterflies perched on the stem, lit by one glass shade below on a 59-inch adjustable cord. Choose from nine shade styles — ruffled white jade, amber crackle glass, ribbed blown glass, frosted, or a rose-embossed bell — in widths from 5.9 to 9.8 inches. The smaller shades suit a vintage-style mini pendant light for bedroom nightstands and entryways, while the wider white jade bowls give ambient lighting over a dining table or kitchen island in farmhouse, French country, and grandmillennial rooms. Bulb included.
Key Features
Cast-Brass Butterflies
Two solid-brass butterflies with raised wing detail perch on a curved brass arm — cast metal, not printed or stamped flat decals.
Nine Glass Shades
White jade, amber crackle, ribbed blown, frosted, and rose-embossed glass — each diffuses the single bulb so the lit element isn’t left bare.
59″ Adjustable Cord
A 150 cm twisted fabric cord shortens at the canopy to set your drop on standard 8–9 ft ceilings, beside a bed or over a table.
Product Size
Every style hangs from the same brass butterfly arm on a 59″ / 150 cm adjustable cord. Shade width and overall height vary by style — full sizes for all nine below.

Use Case
With one socket per fixture, the Papilora works as accent and ambient light rather than a room’s main source. The 5.9″–7.1″ shades make a brass mini pendant for bedroom nightstands, a narrow entryway, or a powder room — hang one on each side of a bed in place of table lamps to free up the nightstand. The wider 8.7″–9.8″ white jade bowls give more spread for ambient lighting over a kitchen island or a dining table; hang two or three in a row over a longer table.
Match the shade to the room: white jade and frosted styles read clean for farmhouse and transitional spaces, while amber crackle and rose-embossed glass lean vintage and grandmillennial. Use a warm-white 2700K bulb for a soft glow, and a dimmable bulb if you want to lower it in the evening. White jade and crackle glass are molded and finished by hand, so small color variations and faint swirls are characteristic of the glass, not defects.
FAQ
Are bulbs included? What type?
Yes — bulbs are included. Each fixture uses 1 × E26 medium base bulb (the US standard screw size); the Lily Bell style uses E12 candelabra base. We supply a warm white 2700K bulb. Replacement bulbs are stocked at Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Amazon.
What’s the difference between the 9 shade styles?
All nine share the same brass butterfly arm and 59″ cord — only the glass changes. White jade styles are opaque and clean; amber crackle and rose-embossed are warm and vintage; ribbed and frosted sit in between. Widths run 5.9″ to 9.8″.
How do I choose a size for my space?
For a bedside nightstand, entryway, or powder room, pick a 5.9″–7.1″ shade. Over a dining table or kitchen island, the 8.7″–9.8″ white jade bowls spread more light and read better at scale. Run two or three in a row over a longer table.
Is it dimmable, and does it work on a sloped ceiling?
It’s dimmable when you fit a compatible dimmable bulb and use a matching wall dimmer. The cord-hung canopy and adjustable drop suit most flat and lightly sloped ceilings; mount to a standard junction box.
Can I install it myself or do I need an electrician?
It’s a hardwired fixture connecting to a standard US ceiling junction box. A confident DIYer with hardwire experience can do it, but a licensed electrician is recommended for code compliance and safe hookup.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
It’s rated for dry locations only, indoor use. Keep it away from showers, tubs, and exterior locations exposed to moisture.
