What kind of bulb does it use?
Avelisse uses nine E14 small screw base bulbs. We include nine complimentary LED bulbs in Warm White (2700K-3000K) to ensure the richest light diffusion through the ceramic loops from the moment of installation.
Are the ceramic shades fragile?
The shade elements are crafted from high-density ceramic designed for stability and longevity. While robust once mounted, they should be handled with care during the hardwired installation process.
Does it cast star-like shadows?
The tiered arrangement of ceramic loops is designed to diffuse light evenly. While it doesn’t project specific shapes, the overlapping ceramic layers create a beautiful rhythmic play of light and shadow on the ceiling surface.
How do I clean the ceramic loops?
We recommend using a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a feather duster periodically. For deeper cleaning, the ceramic surfaces can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth while the power is off.
