The Legend Valve no lead cast bronze water service CTS pack joint x MNPT adapter is designed and manufactured for both new installations and the repair of underground water service applications. Featuring CTS pack-joint end connections, it provides maximum pullout resistance against internal pressure changes and backfilling stress, ensuring a secure, long-lasting seal. This adapter is designed for use with Type K or L copper tubing compliant with ASTM B88, as well as polyethylene (PE) tubing compliant with ASTM D2737 SDR 9 when installed with an insert stiffener (Model T-4500, sold separately). Manufactured from durable, lead-free cast bronze, it meets the latest AWWA C800 standards for high-pressure water systems. The fitting is third-party certified and complies with ANSI/NSF 61 for drinking water system health effects, ANSI/NSF 372 for low lead content, and ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 for pipe thread accuracy.
